Timeline: 1999 - 2000 A statewide public interest group representing a broad coalition of partners fighting sprawl and leading the charge for better-managed growth through innovative policies and programs: Facilitated first organizing meeting and the first planning process. |
University of NM, Center for Community Learning & Public Service Timeline: 1998 - 2005 Developed a strategy and network structure to connect UNM resources in the form of faculty know-how, Ameri-Corp volunteers, and students to neighborhoods. Before UNM could offer to be of help, the neighborhoods had to ask first and were coached on how to develop the best ask. |

The Learning Center for Deaf Children (TLC) Timeline: 2004 - 2006 TLC is a comprehensive day & residential facility for deaf and hard of hearing students from infancy through high school: Strategic planning process, new operating structure, and coaching. |
Transforming Urban Communities Timeline: 2004 - 2005 This is a Royal Society of Arts (RSA) Symposium took place on this issue in June of 2005. New Commons was on the program committee and helped to bring important speakers to Providence, RI. The symposium compared the renaissance of Providence and Liverpool, England. This symposium led to the development of A Year in Providence and the Region. |

Roger Williams University, Institute for Teaching and Learning Timeline: 2005 - 2006 A community network for Bristol/Warren public schools and RWU, among parents, teachers and students, to improve teaching and learning through partnerships: Produce an action-learning based evaluation of the program. |

Timeline: 2006 - Present Radio Open Source is an internationally renowned interactive, online/pod-cast conversation examining social, cultural and political issues. This program is hosted by Christopher Lydon, a fellow at the Watson Institute for International Studies and Brown. Providing strategic counsel on how to embed a former Boston-based syndicated public radio program into the Providence culture and develop programming that is a global conversation in part shaped by what is going on in Providence. |
RI Urban Mayors' Community of Practice Forum Rhode Island Urban MayorsTimeline: 2004 This project operated under the sponsorship of the RI Foundation and developed among the 8 urban Mayors. It was based on specific practices each city could help the other with. An inventory of best practices among the 8 cities was produced. |

Organizational Planning: Realignment Jewish Federaton of RITimeline: April 2007 - Present We are developing an implementation plan that will execute a realignment plan of board governance, community planning, and fundraising. |
